TITAN Magazine
Titan Magazine is an independent periodical created from scratch in Portland, Oregon in 2020, focusing on photography, fashion, art, and design. What started as a personal project among friends evolved into a global collaborative art initiative, featuring artists from diverse cultural and creative backgrounds, with a commitment to the preservation of print and the power of physical media.

HERE IS WHAT WE DID.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Titan was built around a simple idea: contribute to the preservation of the print medium by creating a beautiful physical product, and foster global connectivity by showcasing artists from diverse backgrounds. Every editorial and design decision serves that mission.

ART DIRECTION
Titan features a sleek, modern aesthetic built on clean layouts, minimalist design, creative typography, and four unique covers per volume. The natural world is the thread that binds the publication, running through the photography, articles, and overall visual language of each issue.
TALENT ACQUISITION
We sourced high caliber photographers, videographers, and writers from around the world, building a roster that represents the brand with excellence and elevates the overall quality and diversity of each issue.

WRITTEN CONTENT
In collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House, we crafted a written article blending thorough research, engaging storytelling, and elegant photography, producing a piece that was detailed, polished, and brought awareness to a new audience.
APPAREL DESIGN
Each Titan Small Batch release features unique pieces created specifically for the magazine by designers from around the world. Volume 2 featured a vibrant unisex linen set designed by Wookie Fields, with each garment made to order and hand-sewn by Mackinley James.

DISTRIBUTION
Volume 2 was distributed by PDG to newsstands and Barnes and Noble locations across the United States, achieving a 38% sell-through rate — above the national average for all magazines on the newsstand. This was accomplished despite a high cover price and no national promotion or advertising, a result that reflects the strength of the publication and the quality of the work inside.
