TITAN
Titan Magazine is an independent periodical we created from scratch, focusing on photography, fashion, art, and design. Established in 2020 in Portland, Oregon, Titan evolved from a personal project among friends into a global collaborative art initiative. Our commitment is deeply rooted in the preservation of tangible print, while simultaneously fostering global connectivity through photography. Through careful curation of works from artists from diverse cultural and artistic backgrounds, we strive to publish equitably and diversely and delve into a nuanced exploration of the human experience.

HERE IS WHAT WE DID.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
A global group art project with a simple concept; to contribute to the preservation of the print medium by creating a beautiful, physical product and to foster global connectivity by showcasing artists from diverse backgrounds in hopes to learn more about where we all come from.

ART DIRECTION
Titan features a sleek and modern design aesthetic, clean layouts, minimalist design, creative use of typography, and 4 unique covers. The natural world is the thread that binds and can be see throughout the photography and articles.
TALENT AQUISITION
Our talent acquisition strategy effectively brought in high caliber artists from around the world. From photographers, videographers, and writers, we ensured our roster would represent the brand well and elevate the presentation of publication.

WRITTEN CONTENT
In collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Gordon House, we crafted a compelling written article, blending thorough research, engaging storytelling, and elegant photography. Our collaborative approach resulted in a piece that was detailed and polished, bringing awareness to a new audience.
APPAREL DESIGN
Welcome to Titan Small Batch. Each batch features unique pieces created specifically for Titan by different designers from around the world. This vibrant unisex linen set was designed by Wookie Fields and each garment made-to-order and hand-sewn by Mackinley James.

DISTRIBUTION
Vol. 2 was distributed by PDG to newstands and Barnes and Noble locations across the United States. It held at 38%, which is higher than the national average of all magazines on the newsstand. This was accomplished despite a high cover price and no national promotion or advertising.
